Hmmm.... as I am doing this blog AFTER the fact let me think back and note what I remember from that first month at home with our little guy.
*Nicknames: Cute Bear, Cormickleton McPickleton, Corpickle.
*He SLEEPS a ton! ... but not necessarily for long periods of time. He would wake up about twice a night to eat during this time and about every hour or so during the day. I remember thinking I might go insane because all I did was sit around feeding the kid all day.
*Breastfeeding SUCKED this first month! We had all sorts of problems and I remember thinking we would never make it.
*He is HUGE! This would make sense as all he does is eat constantly... driving his mother crazy. We went to his first doctors appointment two days after we left the hospital and he had already passed his birth weight. They weighed him twice just to check it.
* I learned that it is best to pack up the little guy and get out of the house! We made a lot of random trips to Target just to go do something... Luckily, Cormicks best friend Benjamin Scott McKenzie was born on June 3! Now we have someone to go visit and play with!!! Yay!
