2 Months Old

Sorry! The boy is growing so much! All I have are mostly just pics of him from this month!

He has gotten to be a big strong beast this month!

Things to tell about:

*Nicknames: Nubby, the Beast, Barfboy (still... but improving daily)

*Accomplishments: Laughs a lot, fantastic head lifting ability... (hmmm... that sounds kinda lame, but we find it exciting), weighed in at 13lbs on the dot and was 23 inches (I may need to double check that...) at his 2 month appointment, is getting much better at eating without being a complete nutcase (aka: much slower and more relaxed now instead of gulping like he may never eat again.)

At his two month check up the doctor told us that he should be recognizing his name by 4 months. This could be a problem as we pretty much have been calling him Nubby ALL the time. We will have to work on that!

Dan and I ran the Missoula Marathon RELAY with our good friends Ellen and Peter McKenzie on July 13th. It was glorious fun! We were dead last of the relay teams, but seeing as how Ellen and I had just had babies we consider it quite an accomplishment. I totally hurt my hip trying to train for it and the race didn't help the healing process.... by the end of the month, I could finally run again after letting my hip heal, but I am a huge slacker and have been pretty bad about it. Cormick loves the jogging stroller when I actually do get out! Actually, he just sleeps in it the whole time, but it looks like it would be great fun.
